History behind Viagra

When we begin to talk about the history of Viagra, we will be talking about the year 1998 in the United States in mid April.  Viagra was an instant hit as it claimed to be the cure for impotent men and another easier option for those suffering with the conditions. Doctors had to write literally tens of thousands of scripts per week. In just a 14 week time span it became the "must have" drug of the century.

Unfortunately it also became the drug that youths found to be recreational as well. They began mixing the drug with other street drugs for recreational purposes in the club culture.  This spread throughout the world.  Non-medical use was not the intended use. It of course was intended to assist those suffering from Impotence and was approved by the FDA for that purpose.

The side effects that were associated with the drug began to steadily climb and people began to provide fake, substitute, and free Viagra and herbal Viagra, cheap Viagra tablets, and all other kinds online.  The sales leapt as well as those items that were know aphrodisiacs and those other drugs that would aim to treat impotency problems. They were promising more things for less money.  Not the way this was supposed to go, I'm sure.  Since then the Pfizer shares went from $45 to $115 and VIAGRA was known as the drug that would cure impotence but also give the person a healthy, non-impotent and outstanding performance to those who used it.  Everyone that you could come into contact with seeking an answer to their problems for erectile dysfunction and other problems.

Older men thought that this was a drug that would make them as virile as a teen ager and they bought it in cases.  This of course was not the situation at all.   "Must have" drugs never are all that the hype says.   At any rate it was one of the most popular drugs of the year.  It had the young, the old, those looking for a cure for a problem, and those who just needed a fix.

Buy Viagra online next day delivery because the very first intended use for VIAGRA was for the treatment of chest pain as Sildenafil Citrate is a heart medication. It did not show promise and the clinical trials were stopped in the year 1992.  It was then reevaluated for its effects on the ability of men with erectile dysfunction to engage in sexual activity.  The ability for men to achieve and maintain a good erection to perform satisfactorily became its main focus then.

The rest as they say is history. The clinical trials found Viagra to be so successful that they approved it in record time. The FDA approved this drug in just 6 months after submission and before consulting with any advisory board.  The "must have" drug of the century had its approval then without any troubling questions gone unanswered.  This was the beginning of the new medication that would treat the impotent and those suffering with erectile dysfunction.
